From jQuery JavaScript Library

Wouldn't it be better to use a css-based navigation (think Suckerfish Dropdowns) as a starting point for this example and then use progressive enhancement for adding additional effects and making it work with IE6?

I hate it, if things work only with JavaScript, if there are simple ways to keep something working without it, too.
